It is used to stitch fabric and is different according to different types of fabrics. In ancient times sewing was done manually, if you have ever
experienced to view a handmade garment then you will see the effort behind it; it takes days to complete just one dress to wear.
And girls and women need a great sense of sewing clothes to make one with their own hands. The first sewing machine was invented by Elias Howe
which has created a revolution in textile industry and minimized cost and time for sewing fabric.
This little mechanical device was sold to household ladies worldwide and given the house wives an easy way to sew their cloths as well as to
earn money. This great product given employment to millions of people.
In earlier machines they were operated by hands but later on an electric motor was used to remove the effort to much extent. The only need was
to have the talent to sew the cloth.
The hobby and interest of women in sewing clothes and making handicrafts has also increased so much that so many people tried to adopt it as a
profession and started selling those designed fabrics which later laid the foundation of the Textile industry properly.
Nowadays millions of fabric are created on a daily basis, in millions of factories all around world; and sewing is done on a large scale in
factories, and sewn fabric is exported for sale.
Sewing Machines are not only used to increase the trends of fabric but they also given birth to fashion industry as well as the important
items needed to blush a dress like buttons, zippers, and a lot of accessories used in making a perfect dress.
Since it is now a part of a women's life which is incomplete without it. In many cases, the practice of sewing cloths will continue in future
generations as well. The scope is still widened.
